HRT-D
The Shannon HRT-D is a highly productive and heavy duty semi-automatic acrylic sheet bending machine with bottom heating, consisting of easily adjustable profiles with heating wires that are adjustable in height.
The HRT-D is designed to handle large sheets but also large series of smaller sheets thanks to the automatic feeding and transport system.
The removable upper frame has roller tracks that hold the sheets in place and prevent warping (banana effect).
The temperature of the heating wires is very precisely adjustable by a control unit.
The durable heat resistant worktop consists of multiple adjustable panels, adjustable conveyor belt and has a double parallel stop with inch and millimetre indication.
The machine is modular built and is already prepared internally so that it can be easily extended later with multiple heating profiles and/or control units.

Temperature control units
Single and double units can control the temperature of 1 or 2 heating wires. Our bending machines are internally prepared to easily upgrade with more control units. The digital controllers have a safety that prevent the heating-wire from burning.

With multiple wire heating profiles you can create a wider heating zone. This is used for bending a big radius or thicker materials. For bending the maximum thickness materials double side heating is needed with top and bottom heating profiles.
